The Validity of the NMBI Decision Letter
Occasionally, I get several questions thrown into my inbox about the validity of the NMBI DL.
Under normal circumstances a decision letter is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
A decision letter is issued to overseas applicants who need to successfully complete a compensation measure before the NMBI can recognise their qualifications.
Do you know that due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the NMBI still considers all decision letters issued on or after March 2019 valid until further communication is issued to applicants and stakeholders?
NMBI is still keeping the issue under active consideration, in line with developments related to the pandemic and the NMBI reserves the right to end the extension period at any time but will give three months advance notice of this to all applicants.
